How do I register?
Looking to join chess?
Participants can join a team at one of the following participating programs or register as an individual to play in our tournaments.
Registration for CYC Tournaments will begin on November 1.

When is the chess season?
The CYC Chess season runs from December through February.
The schedule is 4 qualifying meets and a championship meet for the top 40 qualifiers in each age group.
CYC Chess Meets are on Saturdays and will start again on December 14, 2024.
When is the Championship Meet?
The top 40 qualifiers in each age group picked from all four qualifying meets will be invited to participate.
The Archdiocesan Chess Championship meet will be on Saturday February 22, 2025 at TBD.
