CYC HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL
CYC High School Basketball is designed for boys in grades 9th -12th grade during the 2025-26 school year looking to play with friends in a league all about fun.
We offer Fresh/Soph and Junior/Senior age divisions and recreational or competitive divisions.
Teams:
- Full team registration is required (at least 8 players).

- Team Registration opens Oct 1, 2025 and closes Nov 17, 2025. Player registration is open until Dec 20, 2025.
- Due to limited gym time available, when a maximum number of teams is reached, the registration will close.
- Register for Fresh/Soph or Junior/Senior and select your team’s level of play.
- Teams must be sponsored by a parish. Teams can be made up of players from many different parishes or schools. Oftentimes, high school teams are made up of friends from the same high school. Most teams are formed after high school tryouts have been completed the first week of November.
- Players may only play on one team.
- Players who play for their high school team (C/D-team/Freshmen, B-team/Soph/JV or Varsity) are not eligible to play CYC as it is in violation of MSHSAA rules.
- Gym time from your parish is need to host games.

- Cost is $110 per player and includes a jersey. Late Player registrations after December 1st will be $135.
- No outside jerseys are allowed. Only the jerseys supplied by the CYC Office are to be used.
- Games begin January 2-4, 2026

- Games are played on Saturday or Sunday in the late afternoon or evening, with some Fridays included.

- Practice time is dependent on the sponsoring parish to provide if available
Coaches: Each team is required to have an adult coach (age 21+) on the bench at all times that has completed the Archdiocesan Safe Environment requirements set forth by the Office of Child and Youth Protection.
